This is why I wanted to skip the early cutscenes on crit but not the later ones, they are obviously more watchable because they don't drag as much

i think it makes sense that all the insane and exciting shit in 3 happens at the end, but in early game it lacks in meaningful cutscenes

I think it's meaningful to newcomers though

The middle scenes in the gummi ship just keep reinforcing things we already know, and the beginning one's basically go over the old games again

But obviously, I do agree

It lacks an impact when things start happening at the end because there's no build up to it

imo from the perspective of a newcomer the game really sucked in explaining the story

They should have done it like Avengers

Just throw everyone into the story

No recaps or anything

I guess KH1 didn't have too much before the end but it was set up in a way that it was more about the journey, whereas KH3 was always pushing towards that climax. KH2 of course had RG mid-game to provide a big epic mid-season finale

Quite honestly my favourite part of the series

Because we got Twilight Town, a downgrade replacement
