I can only speak for my own emotions. And BBS trio reunion did nothing for me because, lo and behold I haven't played BBS

I took it to mean that all the reunions were delivering emotional impact well simply because they were shown

Despite their being no effort to build up to it

Like, it showed the end result but not the journey to that point

Well KH3 was always gonna be hard to do build up when most of it has been done already. The conclusion aspect was done without much build up in this game
