The actual place.. and then the realm of the gods

with the previous games, they had 2D movies to work with, so they had to come up with a universal art style for it to fit into the KH franchise, that was nice, KH3 did not use this art style, and you can see they didnt with Olympus, Olympus as a whole feels off the most because Hercules was never done in HD/3D like every other world in KH3 so they just spitballed and tried to copy the style of other worlds in KH3.

That actually was what they were going for

with the Kingdom Shader stuff
