I think it helps that the einhander staff worked almost exclusively on gummi

Hmm Idk what it is, that 10000 heartless battle is just as mind numbing as the kh2 one

Except I didn't feel much of a sense of progression here, because it never felt like the mob was decreasing

There isn't another 1000 battle

It would feel more immersive if straight after the battle you're harassed by mobs like in KH1 and 2

The major devil's wave has the HP threshold, though.
