If it was a retcon that ruined another storyline, I would agree, but this is pretty tame

They are his heartless and nobody after all

People liked Xemnas more than Ansem because he was a little different

Not anymore lol

Look, like I said, it's just the straw that broke the camels back

maybe xiggy was like "also that ven kid might be like one of them ancient keyblade wielders wink wink nudge nudge"

So many small small retcons just to satisfy KHUX

and xemnas was like

I mean that's what I have to assume

But then why go out of his way to connect with Aqua?

he wants friends

Aqua is the only one to know where Ven is ?

And we know why Xehanort wanted to find ven

He was kinda tragic in a way

Then a few years later

maybe he just randomly remembers little bits and pieces

I always liked Ansem so much more than Xemnas

and is like "thats probably important"
