Yeah, and that also makes me sad, you can see a lot of effort put everywhere, especially in the Disney worlds, but with such a troubled development and Disney meddling, it makes it never come together

As if KH3 is a game that is less than the sum of its parts

To put it most succinctly, it's a game that never feels more than the sum of its parts

O.o

Contrary to KH1, which I consider to be more than the sum of its parts

Are you two the same person

To all the games really

I think we're quite different

xigasp

"Why are you still talking about KH3? KH6 is coming out!"

But I think there is kind of some truth to that, Miggle

Because if the series really takes a turn in a different direction, people will always see KH3 as the turning point

Kinda like people will always talk about The Last Jedi as the turning point for Star Wars

And I'm not saying that KH3 and TLJ are in the same ballpark, KH3 was much more competently made.

So yeah, the fanbase is in a complicated state right now

Alright, darling

Please ignore the context of the previous messages and interpret my statement as a standalone take

"KH fanbase bad, guys"

Since KH2? More like com

You know what?

I will definitely, absolutely, undoubtedly, NOT PM you art of Sora in a dress.

It's just been less noticeable because no game has been as big as KH3

Just because you're a big paaloka

Well, I would argue that 3D is where the fanbase went into a complicated state. KH3 is when it went x10 that

Shut up

So using the example from earlier, 3D is The Force Awakens and KH3 is The Last Jedi

Jesus can we stop this bitchfighting

KH3 was supposed to be bring together the fans of BBS/DDD/1/2/Days together.

Let's be honest there are people here who love union cross and don't like KH2, it's very much a broadchurch

Not to the same extent of course but you get my point

There are all kinds of people out there

I would not doubt that

Recoded is a good game though

It's better than half the stuff we've gotten

I know there is one person in this server who likes UX more than kh2. Not saying names tho as I don't want any witch hunts here

But yeah, Otti

Miggles Re:coded has an objectively better balanced gameplay system than at least KH3/Days/BBS/DDD

That's at least half

Now we're coming right off a disappointing release that fell short of pretty much everyone's expectations right into another release where we have no idea of what's going on but are already seeing signs of bs in certain places.

One could argue that we're in a more complicated time now than we've ever been.

Now we are in the Last Skywalker phase darkness

Because now it's not just a discussion about "the handhelds", but a discussion about the entire series and its direction.

lol
