Action games? Isn’t that what the (original) Tomb Raider series is?

Even though they are action games, they do have those jrpg tropes. I suppose its more accurate to call it a mix

KH1 was a JRPG, KH2 was an action game, KH3 is a jrpg

Curious why you think KH2 is more action game than JRPG compared to KH1 and 3

KH1 and KH2 don’t seem that different to me.

Because with how KH2 works, it's pretty similar to 3

KH3 has cooking and more minigames and such, I guess it has more jrpg features to it?

it's simple compared to 3, KH2 destroyed every rpg aspect for the sake of balance

you can't play a mage or guardian in kh2

they don't support this rpg fantasy

if you use magic in the later parts of the game you are basically playing wrong

There's always some game breaking

Basically one of the two major issues I have with 3's combat

the only purpose magic has in lvl 1 is to fill up your transformation gauge

and it sucks >:
