This game feels like nomura was re writing it as he was writing it

I definitely think this game went through probably a dozen re:writes by nomura and he just gave up and took the best parts of each and tried to put them together

Well, even he admitted he was not happy with how KH3 turned out.

Which adds more salt to the wound when you consider how long he had to write

Like, all the things that hurt () the game development by all means shouldn't have affected the story writing.

And yet it apparently did.

Now we wait for what Re:Mind alters or improves, but sadly KH3 is unfixable in terms of story telling if you think it was a disappointment.

So you better get used to it being the way it is

I will likely never get over what KH3 should have been

But I have been getting used to what it is

Well, everyone thinks it should have been something else, but people's views vary.

For me, I'll never get over what Nomura wished KH3 had been.

I honestly wasnt expecting too much, but what I was expecting were things a KH2 fan would expect

Big, cool world at the end, A fun and entertaining story, FF characters

FF characters will be a contention forever, I feel.

The game's story was too fast paced and rushed and original worlds were not realized, leading to world-unbuilding and it feeling smaller than it should've been.

Plus the pacing of Aquas rescue was poorly handled

Aqua as a whole is just a bruh moment

putting all the events at the end of the game left so little to think about during the game that playing through all 8 worlds in one go feels like a drag

After 0.2 showed how the RoD was messing with her head and the subsequent resolve she had of enduring, we end up having pay offs to neither plot points in KH3

yeah

Instead Aqua was hit by funnyman Ansem's ball of darkness

its all swept aside once you save aqua because the ending is here

So it was not a culmination of any character arcs or plot threads, it was just... something strange that happened

the game has 60%-70% disney world cutscenes and 40%-30% plot cutscenes

Yeah

the distribution is ridiculous

But the problem is not even the distribution, it's just that it is all poorly utilized

look at KH2 40% disney cutscenes 60% story

Like, the Disney worlds essentially don't matter at all to the main story.

and that game has 3 hours more cutscenes than KH3
