The weird thing is that cutscene with Saix and Vexen, because we know they're working together but in that scene they talk like they're not

Because, again, I understand where Nomura was coming from and I can pinpoint exactly which scenes in past games could be used for his plot twist. But then in hour 1 of the endgame I'm fighting berserker saix and then hour 3 I'm seeing him be buddy buddy with XION and its insane whiplash
