By the way, KH3's story is not something I consider "objectively bad"

KH3's narrative is actually fairly decent

Pacing aside

The problem is how it stands as the conclusion to the story arc

Which subjectively didn't feel conclusive to many

Well, I love it as a conclusion so that's where we divide yeah

It's weird to see someone say they love KH3 as a conclusion

Because love is a very strong word

Love and hate are quite strong

Like, I don't hate KH3's story

At worst I find it annoying

Hate is reserved for things that make me angry

That being said, there are specific moments in KH3 that do piss me off

Like the weird Terranort battle and subsequent repetition and the final cutscene

Usually things like that don't make me angry as much as they leave me perplexed

Isa appearing at the tower just made me go "whaaaaaaaaaaat"

Like, we skipped 30 minutes worth of dialogue

I can buy everyone forgiving Saïx and becoming friends, it's just a matter of us seeing it happening

oof, the only time I got mad in KH3 was pooh's world

But Naminé is also another problem

It's so sad to see her coming back in the final cutscene

And have no dialogue

And also it's sad how her only lines in KH3, though greatly written and effective, were optional and easily misseable

I just looked everywhere and found it

The Final World was a very good part of KH3's story, possibly the best one

The part where she says "I thought everyone only cared about Roxas" made me

So it was effective

I wonder how many people missed her dialogue and thought that Lingering Will was an asspull

Like, gives us a establishing shot of Lingering Will

Make it be in our mind, our conscience

A narrative signifier that makes us go, "oh, so Lingering Will will have a role"

It makes it less bothersome when he appears

Also yeah Miggle, I agree that that scene is pretty bad

Mostly because of how nonsensical it is

Ama and I were talking about it yesterday and the conclusion we arrived to was "Master Xehanort wanted a good fight, so he didn't mind getting rid of the guardians if they were weaklings"

Which even then is still weird since Xehanort would've killed Kairi and thus would have to wait until the universe gave him a Princess of Heart replacement

Probably my least favourite scene tbh
