Just the feeling that Re Mind will 'fix' KH3 for them. That's already placing it on an extremely high pedestal. Regardless of Re Mind's aspirations, it's still a dlc. Pinning your hope on the game from the dlc is not gonna work out well

Yes, like a lot of us have said that remind will not fix a story that you really don't like already

But tbf people want different things, even if it can't fix it may still give them nice things, as it were

I'll be honest there. I am not expecting much from that. I'm thinking it'll be minimal at best. FF characters for instance might just be there for 1 or 2 scenes

Neither am I, but for some people that's enough. Like, look at the Lingering will/terranort cutscene, it's probably not playable and it's not gonna be that big a thing but people will still be happy to have it.

Which leads me to believe that it won't be exclusively on rails

Like, you go out of your way to make the Disney worlds as big as you can manage but the final world of the finale of the Xehanort saga is cut short like that

My bets is also on how you find data fights like cavern of remembrance, maybe they're even split up around the area (bad news for speed runners if so heh)
