When I finished my first KH3 playthrough I tried fighting Data Roxas in 2FM and I missed rolling out of combos far too much

Tbh my main problem really is the latency between hits in the combo

KH1 and 2 both had snappy combos

KH1 is frankly underrated in that regard

I'd say 3's is fine in this regard except the weird aerial hit sora sometimes does

finishers on the other hand

It's not bad

To me it's just even the base combo is just sluggish

but ground combos to me feel very snappy

kh1 feels the slowest in comparison especially the finisher

aerial combos in kh1 feel amazing though

Base combo is like, in the cusp of being great, there is just that small distance that makes it feel a tad awkward

See in KH1 the moves themselves are slow, but the latency between each isnt

I especially dislike how enemies are flung so far by the keyblade hits

At least they don't feel like it to me unless I remember wrong lmao

kh3's base base combos to me feel really good except the aerial one could be tweaked

I want him to get home safe and sound

if the weird aerial combo he sometimes does was a bit more, well less slow and there was less delay on the base aerial finisher I'd be super happy

So I can lecture him about Kairi

Then there's the magnetism

lol, tracking is just insane

yeah that's what I mean

it really disrupts the flow of the aerial combo

Oh right, the one where he hits only downwards instead of down up down

That one is annoying, yeh

that's probably the only thing that really bothers me for sora's aerial combos everything else is small qol tweaks

I guess that would work too

yeah it doesn't feel natural

it doesn't fit well with the combo at all

feels very sluggish

I think dean called it ugly and I'd agree, it just doesn't look/feel great
