I don't know

Feels kinda bad that I was using crit as an opportunity to rewatch the cutscenes and get a better grasp on the storytelling but now I'm just skipping all of them

Lol that's what I did too

It's all good

I'm sure Everglow will add KH3 to his timeline at some point this year, so that'll help connect a few dots

That would be good

This is weird

So, when the guardians get to the KBG, the norts say that they'll recreate the Keyblade War

But then Xemnas says "your light shines too brightly"

Comes across as if it's a problem when theoretically it should be good? The brighter the light and the darker the darkness, the better it would be for the clashes to be successful, right?

There is a trick to enjoying KH3

Don't question it

:AYAYAerith:

I don't necessarily think so

Xemnas is just mouthing off idk why

@Estoria#4001 you're right! But I also think it's possible that too much light would not allow for their dark to be able to create the war that Xehanort is deeming for

> I don't necessarily think so
I'm memeing

ephemerfrown

I find it hard to tell these days

That's true Goldy

It just comes across as weird to me in a way

But as a first look, he's mainly saying that your light is too bright and a annoyance to us of dark

He just reaaaaaaaallllllyyyyyyyyy wants to kill people

Then there is a possible subtext beneath it in order to achieve the harmony needed for the Keyblade War
Similarly to how UX broke the light to mix in some dark

Or as a parallel, the greed of pure light is in of itself a dark action

Might be a translation issue there too

Where it doesn't sound like he's annoyed by it in Japanese but comes off like that in English

Eh

Maybe? If it wasn't an annoyance then they wouldn't go to the lengths of trying to break their light

It's not an intimidation line or a joke line but Xemnas, that we can say for sure

"It must be extinguished in order for the truth to be seen"

Yeah, like, what truth

I'm what sense is the word truth being used?

Is it like, "we can only know the truth about the outcome of the Keyblade War if your light is extinguished?"

The truth of the war and Kingdom Hearts I suppose

What were to happen if light goes away and we reset to the beginning

Hmm, yeah, the world did begin in darkness
