Quid, I need to be frank, I simply can't understand what you have against the menus

They look slick and pretty

It affects literally every facet of the entire tools you need

Can you stop throwing all the designers' talent and effort that went into crafting such nice menus in the trash just because one dummy made a decision you don't appreciate

Also I've gone in and out of the menu to test this and sometimes they still don't disappear which is

That's because you didn't check them out properly

I know the feeling, same happened to me

Yeah, you have to click everything individually

I could for instance argue that having an alternate version of the "new" icon helps me out if I accidently pass over a new icon and don't notice it was new

Having to click individually is bad, that I'll agree with

I scroll past something by accident and suddenly the new section is gone
