I love passive summons a lot firetrucking more than making them a minigame

KH1 to me is a pretty raw and technical game, I like that about it. It doesn't rely on flashy stuff that takes your control away like KH2 has with RCs and KH3 has with many of the SCs

My main complaint about it is that you whiff so easily

Short keyblades are a killer

Kh1s simplicity imo is a pro and a con on. One hand it has very solid combat but in the other hand its a bit too simplistic and not as fun as the other games

I do kinda miss keyblade range being a thing

That's the thing, I found the whole game frustrating. I even played on Beginner and I found it painful to play because it's such a slog to go through

I can't really find a game fun if my first thought is "this is frustrating to play"

I would be you otti if I didn't grow up with kh1

Which would also be me in that situation. If I played KH1 first I most likely would be where you are now

Especially if you look at the og kh for ps2 that game has so many weird things the final mix version is such a blessing

Growing up with it really made me learn everything about it.

Although if I played KH1 first, I don't think I would have been a KH fan at all if I am honest
