Tho Re Mind did have that “planning for the world’s destruction” line

I don’t think MoM is a bad guy

It could be hypothetical but it has some pretty sinister undertones

And idk, the series keeps pointing towards him as the next major antagonist

He might be going up against Sora+co but he’s not evil ?

MoM did let young weilders die in war and watch

Might be a matter of perspective

I kind of see MoM as a “man watching ants” type.

Like he’s not necessarily evil but people are so beneath him he doesn’t acknowledge cruelty

But we’ll see, there’s still so so much we don’t know

honestly the war was because of Ava and the other foretellers. ?

and he knew there was nothing he or anyone could do to stop them from fighting

And true. We don’t know enough to be for sure of motives

But MoM is on Light’s side

I’m not convinced he’s on the side of light or dark

He seems to dip his feet into both ends of the pool

That’s true, can’t wait to learn more about him. Yet every time I see him , under his surface personality is something very dark.

I have a theory

As far as motivations go

Everything he did was to protect the light ?

If I remember one of the UX scenes, he went on about how the Keyblade War was really just a never ending cycle

Light vs Dark, repeat, and so on

What if his plan is to basically end everything, to break the loop basically

Kill kingdom hearts

That would go against what we know he wanted tho ?

Lose kingdom hearts itself lose everything

which was to protect the light and make sure it survived ?

Kingdom hearts is light. ?

I think you’re close tho like. It seems he wanted things to start over

But to get rid of the darkness that was appearing.

Honestly no one knows where last pure light of kingdom hearts went

Why would MoM spur the interests of a young impressionable Xehanort

He didn't

He just passed his keyblade down until someone took interest in it

With Luxu watching and seeing until someone did take it

Well yeah but he was clearly playing some mind games with him in Re Mind’s intro cutscene

Or at the very least testing him

he didn’t really do anything but listen to Xehanort and question him.

Xehanort already had those ideas

The Master could see the future, he clearly knew who he would become

And we don't know if Xehanort got No Name at that point

My guess is he did

Which is when MoM came in and talked to him

I figured he didn’t get that until after becoming a master
