I don't mind if people pick this apart LMAO It's kind of why I like sharing theories because sometimes other people have to take a look at it for you to personally know how well it stands up

but looking at young ienzo at least, his eye color is very similar to the no name keyblade eye lol

90% of the characters in this game have blue eyes ?

I was also going to mention his hair covers his eyes but that seemed
Kind of like what made everyone believe Xigbar was MoM originally

I wish Ienzo would fall eye first into a rake

Also "LOOK HIS HAIR COVERS HIS EYE" just seems like a stretch LMAO especially since we've also seen what his eye looks like underneath when he turns

You can absolutely hide clues about characters in their character design

but the fact that zexion is called the "Cloaked schemer" seems to mirror Mom in a way lol

Yeah I completely forgot about that until I was rewatching all the scenes back and I facepalmed for me missing that for so long while I thought about it ?

It feels like a really obvious connection but my brain was too busy fine combing everything else

plus another odd detail
and maybe it makes more sense with the timing in kh2, i can't remember

it just seems so odd to me in this seen Xigbar/Luxu is wearing his hood up

and he has that same jovial mannerism as MoM

I thiiiink it's to do with the timing in the game since Xigbar's revealed pretty late in the game ? BUT I did notice they linger on Xigbar's hooded face for a good few seconds before it cuts to that INCREDIBLY long cutscene of Xemnas walking down stairs ?

Why was that scene so long
I love it because it really just keeps going as all he does is walk down steps ? It makes me laugh every time I see the scene

But I did screen the bit where it lingers on Xigbar

but CoM Zexion uses light to entrap Riku, and then in ReMind, when MoM says his name he's surrounded with light.
and those are the only two times we've seen things almost suffocating under the light like that
Plus when Riku claims that he reeks of darkness despite being blocked by supposedly ~real~ light, that sort of mirrors that scene with MoM and YX
where he's being so unclear of his real intentions, but on a surface level, with his name, he's presenting himself as light essentially

I think MoM also says sarcastically
"Never heard that one before, a keyblade wielder willing to side with the darkness?"

The battle between Zexion and Riku is repeated again and I honestly can't work out why other than it being highlighted it's important
There's of course the first time in CoM but then again randomly in Days

And I really can't work out why Xion would of witnessed that moment exactly

which sort of also shows a progression from that line of "No one's EVER worn the darkness the way he does!"
Plus also on a more surface level, when MoM is going on about what he might be doing, he's literally just scheming right there lol

It's actually one of the moments + the scene with Xigbar that had me start watching more carefully

Because I remember watching the 24 hour livestreams of kingdom hearts before KH3 release and it'd be like
"And suddenly! Ienzo or Zexion scene!"

Just out of nowhere with little to no context

Ienzo is becoming a much more involved character afterall
he was always sort of in the background in 3, and now he's at least going to have another scene in MoM as with what we've seen from the trailers
Like Vexen isn't getting that sort of treatment, especially not Aeleus or Dilan too

The scene with Xigbar could of been with anyone else but it's specifically with Zexion
Axel specifically names taking out Zexion when he also played a role in taking out Vexen too

Actually Vexen wasn't named at all during that conversation

A lot of people have theorised Zexion was higher ranked than Vexen for some reason because of how Zexion talks down to Vexen, tells Vexen what to do and the fact Saix wanted him personally taken down by Axel

Which is never explained why Saix holds such a grudge against Zexion personally LMAO

A lot of these scenes are shown but never given context to but that's a consistent thing
One or two scenes I could write off as just random scenes they added to fill out game time but they start piling up fast

Something I've been trying to do is find every single character file on Ienzo/Zexion across all the games but sadly my old consoles are gone and I haven't completed the games on my Xbox ? And finding them online has been a pain

One thing I'm trying to look for now too is just any glimpses of a page we get to see from the Book of Retribution, and seeing if there are any comparisons between them and the small glimpses we've seen of the book of prophecies
