i was talking to a mentor and they tried to justify having multiple abilities do the same effect under different circumstances

just cuz some classes have the same effect

you want a ninja and war

to both be having their slashing debuffs up

no it doesnt stack

only one does

at a time

I mean dps play like dps and tanks play like tanks, thats what makes them groups

its to make use of both debuffs

as soon as one slashing goes down

you get the next up

also some debuffs stack

stuff like slashing

pierce

etc doesnt

are you argueing about different class types in rpgs and whether or not they should share abilities that other classes use?
