Weren't those just rumors? At least, that's what I heard

They were reported as solid fact, I think someone at khi got a quote from sena

And a bunch of keyblades coming to help isn't necessarily Ux, only ephemer is. So I can give that bit a pass

The only info I remember was from E3, I think where it was mentioned that UX is continuing past KH3

Because sena said they wouldn't be up to date with the relevant info before kh3

No this was more recently, like November?

Turns out none of it was relevant, and clearly nomura was more interested in that story than this

Xehanort should have died in DDD lol

So if it never existed as a game i see no real loss and only net benefits

I still can't believe xehanort is like actually dead for reals this time

Yo I just saw a nice thing some guy on khinsider said

I'm not saying they had an easy job to balance all these characters- some of whom have been main characters in their own stories- but this should've been an Avengers with Sora at the center.
We've seen everyones story and now we come together and be together while playing as our main character again.

I think my real deep issue is that I knew what the end of KH3 would be since 2013

And that is, everyone's gonna come back, and we need to find Xehanort

*fight

But that was literally all of KH3s plot

And it was all at the end

There was no build up within the game to reach that point

It was a foregone conclusion

Ah I like the Avengers analogy

Cause the other games did indeed setup like the marvel films did

I liked it too, very simple and clean ?

hadesthink

But yeah that's why I said what I did on KH13

By the end, I was like, meh. Nothing hyped me

Yeah man

Not only because, a) I already knew for the past six years what would likely be happening

But also 2) because every part of the game that I should have been invested in like the final world I couldn't because I had seen parts of the trailer that were still to come

The only genuine surprise was playable aqua and that got me more hyped than anything in the game

Any potential plot twists they hinted at earlier in the game were abandoned. Keyblade legacy, Sora using darkness, experiment girl
So the end went just as expected

Pretty much

Out of all the "plot" intervals that take place

Literally only two of them tells us something we don't know

And they're both to do with roxas and replicas

the keyblade legacy scene

is alot more vague

in the jp version

And that subplot was dropped quicker than a hot potato

in the english version

True, but it goes nowhere regardless

its like oh it will be explained

the japanese version doesnt do that

Xemnas says it's time to reveal
