If it helps, the optional stuff in P5 is purely optional. Does not affect the story in any way except for the romances, and even then it's very small

Spending too much time on concepts like social links and stats in any RPG will make it feel like a chore sooner or later.

P5 is a chill game

altho p5 is easiest game to do a max Social link run

P3 might be a little easier

since you only have literally 3 social stats

if you want it be arguably about Social Links technically devil Survivor 2 has them that's even more difficult lol

but time management isnt my only issue lol

hm, yea that's understandable. usually it's not too difficult in Persona if your playing normal mode you can usually use almost whatever

in Persona you have no idea what melding pewrsonas will create

you have no idea what enemies are coming up

so you dont know what you need

Actually personas have set recipes

And your team member that you gain usually are a hint as to what enemies your facing, as well as what they’re using
