I've never seen the LoTR movies

I've seen the beginning of the Hobbits at school but never watched the full movie either

Let's be honest here.

Some people would fall asleep through some parts of the marathons b/c of how long and dragged out conversations would be.

The Hobbit is not a good trilogy

it shouldnt even be one

All sorts of development issues there

And the Legolas fanservice

Of all the characters to bring back, they got the wooden wood elf who is known for a meme and being good with arrows

And they made him obnoxious

He's basically the weird brother figure in a weird dwarf/elf relationship

So much padding

Unexpected journey I would say is actually good

Desolation is watchable

The first one at least keeps the theme and feeling of the book the most

Battle is...

Yeah

Battle is Return Of The King but kicked to eleven

No wait

Its the Battle at Gondor kicked up to eleven

And yet boring unlike RotK

Literally the start and the end are the good bits for battle lol

And some Bilbo scenes

They somehow took out Tom Bombadil from the films, it still upsets me.

They shouldve just had Bilbo get knocked out and not let us see the battle like the book does

Would've been ten times more watchable

I can see why they had to cut Tom I guess

And yeah I mean why is Alfrid one of the main focuses in Battle

That's when you know there's barely any plot here

Oh yeah

Its like they wanted to use him as comic relief but it never worked

Yeah it was awkward

Literally 2 films like the original plan, would have been far better
