They locked Arsene's third form behind a paid dlc too

Atlus also came under fire for the dancing starlight and daylight games

And I agree with Yousuf P5 royal is not for you if you played p5, it's better for newcomers but it also ruins the story a bit tbh

Curious if they added more than just that one dungeon and some new confidant upgrades

Moment Makoto came in, she just washed every other character away except for Futaba in her own dungeon

Eh in terms of the base game it's pretty much the exact same as p5 but bosses have 1 new atk/event(usually a new punchbag or assist) and the party gains a new ability called showtime which is just another rng stylish special. Yoshizawa gets kind of shoved into the story here and there so they can sort of build up her character but she doesnt become interesting till the third semester for certain reasons I shall not say. She awakens her persona pretty early so she kind of leaves relevance for a while after that. You dont really go actively looking for her in the streets either she usually just calls you. Third Semester is really just one long palace infiltration. You get some new mementos layers but other than that it's just one palace.

It seems to be more like p4 golden than what was advertised. But Persona is one of the few franchises I find to be consistently good so I'm not upset
