I love the scene from BTAS when batman is trying to give money to this crowd of homeless people, but realizes he cant help them all and just gives up and walks away

Did he not learn the first rule of helping the homeless. You are supposed to offer them food and the like because money a lot of the time doesnt help depending on their situation. And knowing Gotham that money wont be going to right place sometimes.

I think something that BTAS handles very well is Batmans sympathy for those he is fighting, when they are mentally unstable or activley unaware of what they are doing, he tries to console them in some way, or reason with them

He should just create underground apartments or something they can stay in because he has enough money to renovate a massive cave with high tech equipment.

I mean I think he does do stuff to support homes or something in one of the episodes

I really like the episode when hes put on trial by all the criminals of arkham and a lawyer proves that its not batman who made these people, but rather these people who decide not to change and blame it on batman to point the blame away from themselves

That's kinda why I liked the show Gotham. Usually in comics and such it's made it out to be that Batman is the reason why there are such weird ass criminals, but Gotham basically made it out to be that Gotham was always firetrucked up and it needed someone like Batman to help it out.

Well ofc before Batman arrived Gotham was full of shit. Though the Killing Joke does kind of make Batman the big reason for Joker.
