why were megas removed?

i thought they'd be kept

Z moves are Sun and Moon thing only.

Too bad. I thought it brought an interesting spin to the battle system.

they are gimmicks just here for one game, one anime season and one tcg set

the new pokemon mechanic is kinda lame to me

its mega evolutions but worse

but in the end they bring next to nothing

Megas I think are genuinely interesting

Mega Heracross for example

It take a weaker pokemon and makes it competitively viable

Z moves just give you an aoe nuke

You still need skill to play with megas

still waiting for an all region all pokemon game with good graphics
