I'm part of this other server, they're a community centered around these 3 streamers. I'm a huge fan of the streamers, funny and friendly guys

but the community disturbs me a bit

like they have the illusion that they're friendly and kind-hearted when they in actuality ignore tons of people and are very selective with who they interact with. So many people get ignored

it's not only that server, it happens in a lot of places but I only began to notice this issue there

That's basically what happens in most servers

They create a culture based around a few main members that eventually becomes exclusionary

it's also kinda firetrucked up since the selective people there always send each other these hug and love emojis. It's like some anime shit

Tg we don't have it that bad here

Even if we do have something of a culture

it's pretty well balanced over here honestly

in comparison

We have a culture but it's not exclusionary

We always try bringing new members to to speed, and don't ignore them

it's like, if someone new joined, there is a 50/50 coin toss on if they would even be continually acknowledged

in here, everyone is pretty much talked to in some fashion

then again, it's not crazy active here so eh

And we have quid who can talk about basically anything to anyone
