What does the person mean by "local scene got hit hard?"

Seems like a strange straw to nitpick about

Also, Nintendo or TPC should provide the extra equipment for local connectivity.

HA Charizard in Gigantamax not allowed

Get stumped!

Here's a bruh moment for today

its like they didnt even try to cover it up

They messed up when they tried to copy from steven universe and FLCL

I think the video was an intentional callback to those animations.

Its a bit more than imitation

Nah the animation is literally traced

its straight up copied

It's plagiarism, the guy who made it has copied things before too

Sony just didn't realise

more importantly, Sony took down the video

so obviously it was plagerized

I though it being similar was the point.

I guess Sony didn't want that nor did they get permission.

I think our lives have mixed and combined traces of others.

The local vgc events are basically the lifeblood of the community, so with the whole lack of local connectivity, and the switch online subscription has to be bought thing even for local events, plus the rising entry fees, yep local scene is dying

Oh man, Part 4 gave some juicy backstory

ah

Imma catch up on Friday ?

I am enjoying this a lot

Like there is some pacing issues

They sometimes linger on a frame for a few seconds to drag out a scene

But other than that, it's great so far

The character stuff is well done

I even got teary eyed on part 3 so many times

So, it's not possible to play w/ two Nintendo Switches on local connection wirelessly?

It seems we sacrificed simple connectivity and ease of access to have a more powerful system that can run games more efficiently and optimal storage to the system or SD cards that would allow for multiple profiles and saves.

I want to say free online connectivity as well, but someone still has to pay for internet.

I guess subscription-free online then.

My stability comment is concerning how my OG Nintendo 3DS takes about thirty seconds to boot up Gen. VII games (to the opening and start screens) and can't run the browser while suspended (like other Nintendo 3DS software). My system also tells me to please wait after I close the games and has to restart then take it's time to load up the icons. I'm sure the New 3DS is powerful to handle them smoothly, but I imagine the real-time play in Wild Area w/ other players would be a strain. It has delay issues on the system it is on. Upgrades for less latency issues.

That's why the Nintendo Switch Pro will be pushed, but there would also be the issues in the games and the game server(s) themselves.
