nor is there any Samsung store, Apple Store, etc

France, I live in France

we're always behind haha

my bank doesn't even support Apple Pay (yet?) pain

Yeah, I understand

I don't know if it's supported over here either

Brazil is stuck in this weird 1st world / 3rd world middle ground

Yeah it's a bit weird

But man, the Switch seems to fun

I regret being a Wii U supporter, but the Switch is almost bringing me back to being interested in Nintendo stuff

Wii U has basically become pointless aside from the Zelda remasters

the Wii U could've been better

but instead Nintendo made it a slighly more powerful Wii

Sadly I think the design was just awkward

Having two screens available at once seems nifty, but it's a nightmare in action games

I've never had the opportunity to try the Wii U

I bought a Wii U back in 2014

I can imagine. It works great on the Nintendo DS because the screens are so close

The year after Nintendo announced it was not going to do business here any more

But on the Wii U you have to look up and down at the TV and gamepad

So I basically got screwed

It was a mess

Nintendo over complicated things and I didn't know what I was doing

Wait, they don't do business anymore?

My Brazilians friends aren't really Nintendo fans so I didn't know

They have "come back"

The Switch is regulated for sale

And we have the digital store where we can pay for games in the local currency

But they're not back

You know what I just remembered

That time I bought a PAL copy of Skyward Sword instead of the NTSC one

I see, that's why you said you can't send a Switch back for repair should something happen.

Because I didn't know region locking was a thing
