Yeah, this wouldn't really create mid tier games. All it would do is jack up the prices for indie games and you end up in the same situation we are in now

I get your point, and indie games would just be the new 60 dollar prices games instead

Alright I am curious what your definition of mid tier is

That would not work. Jaking up AAA to 100 nobody would agree with that.

What's a mid tier game to you

Might also help me understand the point you are making

Making AAA more expensive would not equal better wages for devs

Pokémon Home is to be available if you have Nintendo Switch online at no extra charge.

It wouldn't even make games themselves more affordable in the long run

It serves nobody but the execs

> And, adjusted for inflation, they are relatively the cheapest they've ever been

But like I said, in real terms peoples wallets haven't seen an increase in size for 12/13 years

Or licensed disney games?

Mickeys skateboarding or someshit

I would like that too but I don't think that will come with $100 prices at all

If the 1980s didn't kill gaming this won't either

Sure it might be a bit jammy but these things balance out over time

Does it? Tell that to the amount of devs getting laid off nearly every year by big companies like Blizzard

Sometimes they are needed though

This may be an extreme example, but without WW2 absolutely decimating Britain, we wouldn't have the social schemes we do today

That's been around for yonks xD

It ushered in America

It also ushered in the independence of many former British colonies

Oh yeah I know

Still tho

I feel the winds of change

Indid

It also brought the EU

It was bound to happen at some point even if it wasn't 1939

What about telltales? They laid off ppl sure but like that's not the same situation

Well, for the first time in its history Europe isn't generally trying to kill each other so I'd say it succeeded at that

I think most of us do

Yeah most of us do xD

But that wasnt what I meant by not being the same situation

On a serious note, I just wait extremely patiently

Every game goes down to a tenner eventually

Or 15

CoolRom dot com, ladies and gentlemen xionsmug definitely not encouraging
