To be fair everything the anime adapts is pretty good

I read some of the manga after the point season 1 ended at and it was

Well, I wouldn't say bad

Demon Slayer just has breakneck pacing the whole way through, both the manga and the anime

Things are introduced too quickly and the story moves so fast that important events don't have the time to sink in

To be fair I don't really understand why Demon Slayer caught on the way that it did

It's good but it's nothing amazing, the characters don't have much depth and the worldbuilding is almost non existent

And I swear Tanjiro is one of the most boring protagonists after a certain point, he's just good personified

My favorite character is probably Kanao just because of how interesting she is
