I was actually sort of kind of enjoying the Black Clover anime tbh

And then the Royal Knight Exam arc happened

The only good part of it was seeing Noele shutting her brother up

The rest of it was boring asf

I hear the arc after is much better

And it's also effin long

Like, Whole Cake Island size

The main problem I have with Black Clover (and believe me, there are many) is that at the end of the day it feels aimless

There's no sense of an overarching arc, it's just a bunch of things that happen

My biggest issue is that I don't like any of the main characters. Which are Asta, Yuno and Noelle

The side characters are so much better

Yeah, they suck

But then they barely get anything and we are just stuck with the most boring ones

I mean, power to those who enjoy those three but I can't get into the series if I can't like one of the main characters
