Nah, more like 2017/18 was a bad enough time for users that it put a lot of people off from ever returning to the site, even though its a lot better now

Not just users, I mean there's a ton of former mods and staff in this server, it was a rough time

Luckilly, i have managed to push the memory of my older threads outside of my memory

Discord was basically my first actual interaction with Kingdom Hearts fans

Ahh they're super cringy but I don't mind laughing at them

It was fun, my Reddit interactions basically came down to pre-release KH3 damage control

And one of them really highlighted how little I've actually changed

It's not exactly a forum though. It feels incredibly claustrophobic to me

Since it's much less nerve-wrecking to wait seconds for a reply instead of constantly gauging how terrible your post was by the upvote/downvote arrows
