Satellite is what I meant mostly, that's a paid service isn't it?

I am not sure

I think it is

People usually get internet TV here, idk how popular that is in other countries

License fee is a £150 per year price, so about £12.50 a month, and you get access to about 100+ TV channels as a standard

The license fee is 100% how the BBC is funded

That’s fairly cheap

Right now, if you watch live TV, you need to pay the licence fee, you can opt out of it though

But pretty much everyone pays for it anyway just because, the BBC alone is worth £12 a month for all of the services it provides.

Do you have to pay a tax for owning a TV in the UK? Just wondering

Not for owning a TV, I guess the licence fee is a tax for watching tv

But the government want to remove the fee and change the BBC funding to a subscription based service like Netflix

So that means if you have a TV but only uses it for PS4 YouTube and Netflix you won’t have to pay any extra? Okay I’m moving over there laughsinnomura

laughsinnomura

Basically, the BBC is essentially dead in a ditch

A lot of great shows I watched when I was younger were BBC shows

That subscription system seems like it would further limit who has access to watching...

How so

It's a pretty default thing

Great to start to Gentle

It requires internet and is a bit more difficult to BS.

Gentle seems like he'll be a lot of fun

also Jiro got attention this episode and it made my heart happy

I guess it seems like it'd be less accessible to poorer people.

i did!

It was... something

yeahhhh

like, the jebait at case 1 kinda triggered me at first but i grew to like it
Sorry Kaede
the characters were all pretty good and the cases were really fun imo

but gosh darn that ending just ugh
