At least ff14 is doing amazingly well although people sadly like to pretend it doesn't exist. Because it's mmo

@Liftea put it this way, FF12 was disliked, FF13 was really disliked but these were both complete games, then FF14 comes out and is certi trash, then FFXV comes out and its unfinished trash. I can certainly see why fans have become toxic towards the franchise

minus the raiding community in ffxiv, the community in ffxiv is probably the best community I have ever seen

but quid FF13 wasn't a full game, because all of the story from 13-2 and Lightning Returns should have been in the main game

I mean, since 2006 Square enix has been a conga line of good to decent to bad to good but controversial games. Unfortunately FF7R is in this position and there's nothing we can do but praise it where it counts but still criticise it fairly too
