It had cartoonish graphics, the hub worlds were still lacking to me, especially that you had to pick them from a map and not actually travel between them, and I hateeeeeeeed how only sonic was playable.

i honestly never thought sun or moon medals were all that bad for me

After 06 I gladly accepted the cartoony art style

In fact it gave the game a lot of charm

The medals aren't bad if you like exploring

For those who don't it's hellish

Especially the 120 sun medals requirement to enter Jungle Joyride Day

Should've been level 6 instead

SD Dark Gaia is pretty good

Especially Perfect phase where you hit the eyes directly

my problem with SD dark gaia is he is just erazor jinn from sonic and the secret rings in terms of controls and i dont like that fight

Aw man, you just unlocked a huge childhood memory, I remember we had to go visit my aunt the day that me and my brother reached dark gaia, so we took the whole wii with us and there was six of us hunched around a small crt TV tryna backseat game while my brother was trying his best to beat him
