The disc size doesn't really mean much, it could be 200GB and could still be small because of bad compressing of files and so on

What does help is that they clearly are expanding stuff, Midgar in the OG game was pretty small, you were done with it in a few hours if you took your time because there isn't much to do there

Here they clearly are doing much more

The demo people played of chapter 7 as an example has a ton of stuff going on in it

Hell, chapter 2 is even showing more

and hell original game had a lot of shit to do outside of midgar but i can see why they want to expand on midgar it was just there and slums was like the only part we were in

You can't apparently use them anywhere, it seems you can only use them in boss fights or special segments
