1200 is still quite a lot

Considering its short period and massive spread

And it's continuing to spread, so mentioning something as less than 1% now seems unfair and those are still p huge numbers in the timeframe.

all of this still feels surreal to me

it's hard to believe what's happening

But the governments response is.... So bad

It made me take it much more seriously

If it were affecting someone close to you, it probably wouldn't seem so insignificant.

nobody said anything about it seeming insignificant

Plus, there are many closings and event cancellations in effect b/c of it aside from the mass stockpiling out of panic.

Why can't you just vote online

because that would make too much sense

not if you can only vote with your ID number

The worry about hacking makes sense.

my biggest worry about a system like this is that votes are supposed to be anonymous, can't trust the internet with that
