Logia is a bit different. If you can make and become a certain thing, you are a logia

And anything that uses abilities outside of those is a paramecia

That also means being intangible

So he's paramecia

Ace can make flames and also become flames

Luffy is made of rubber but he can't make rubber

For Luffy his body is made out of rubber, but he isn’t actually rubber

Chopper is a bit special

Zoan only has 3 transformations

Human, animal and hybrid

Chopper uses medicine to alter his body further

But because of the drug he made, he gets a few additional ones

So Choppers hybrid form is the tiny one you usually see him in

His human form is the big one

His animal one is the deer
