tbf I've never liked FF7. The story is on the same bullshit level as Kingdom Hearts and the combat was pretty bad even for its time, because it's horribly balanced

there are a ton of good turn based games

You are basically disregarding 70% of the JRPG pantheon

FF9 is my fave overall from that era

I really liked ff6 until the World of Ruin thing happened. Splitting up your party again was story wise pretty awesome but in terms of gameplay it was.... yeah bad :linkusGiggle:

I mean like we had a year of ff7 models, then next year there was stuff like Spyro. I can see that bad graphics argument; I mean innovation happens, but there's too big of a difference there

I sort of understand that Walrus, it's the same for me but in regards to FPSs, them being what they are is an instant turn off to me regardless of their actual quality
