those retailers are mom and pop stores like shopto that doesnt care bout release dates. meanwhile stores like target and walmart has to follow the release date to a T

we had switches that where supposed to release friday and they got changes the day before

But that's not how it works in any way. Square still needs to follow the release date set. What the stores are doing selling early is something they aren't allowed to do but still happens. This is not the first game that has had early street breaks.

Hell they have done the best possible way, they knew there were going to be shipping delays because of the virus so they shipped early

it makes no sense with what yall saying not the hard to change dates in system at stores

It definitely does come off as pretty scummy though honestly, when Square themselves ships out copies early while digital players are just kinda firetrucked
