The adaption does not even adapt the Visual Novel whereas Steins;gate mostly did

Chaos;Head got a direct sequel as well called Chaos;Child

That also got a terrible anime adaption

The chaos; games and steins;gate have the same root antagonists

You see them far more actively in Chaos;Head than steins;gate though

The anime for Chaos;Head is considered to be one of the worst anime ever made
