I like the lockscreen so I am fine with it

Although an option for it would be nice too

even Windows 8 followed it even though it was different

There was no lockscreen in Windows 7 and earlier

only a login screen

Lock screens are rad

you could always lock your computer with Win + L

Not really, you have to press a button in order to get to the login screen to "swipe up" the lockscreen

Which is kinda unecessary imo

beats Ctrl + Alt + Del for people

You don't really need to actually swipe it

Just press any button and it opens up

you just hit enter

I used to press the space bar back when I was still using Windows

but still it's an unecessary step that should be optional

oh yeah i totally agree

especially if your computer is a desktop

and that's where the safety thing comes in

so you can't say Microsoft was at fault for someone in your house taking your data

What's safe about it if you can just press a button and it goes away?

The safety part is the login screen

my dad just called and said he's gonna ship me a 43' Monitor from LG

as a bday gift

to which hey im not gonna complain haha. Tho 43' is quite large

That's about the size of my TV

and my TV is huge
