what the point this game wouldnt let you see your avatar unless you are in menu or in the mirror

it makes kinda sense in the setting, but i'm sure the real reason is more about marketing

If it wasn't for CD Projekt Red I probably wouldn't play it.
They haven't let me down yet so Im excited for it.

I don't think it's going to be a bad game

I do think that quite a lot of people have set up expectations that can not be met tho

i more so wanna know what the genre of the game is/what you'll be doing

you go someplace, talk, then go someplace, shoot people, then repeat

Oh for sure, the expectations are what gonna make it or break it for most people.
Though considering their track record with like Witcher 3, I would be surprised if they dont meet them

There's close combat if I remember right

there is melee combat to some extent tho i don't know about it at all

if it's primarily a shooter gonna pass on it for sure

But I haven't followed the game enough to know how deep this goes
