Death of Superman was pretty damn good

DCAMU Supes has not been great, but Death of Superman developed him enough to be actually good which is great

Reign of Superman was....eeehhh

They do this thing in the comic where Superman walks into a room with his eyes glowing red with heat vision, then will have this somber look on his face

Next Supes comic I am going to read is Secret Origins by Geoff Johns

They are both my 2 favorite Superman comics

They show the character of Superman in such interesting ways

Superman in most of his good comics is better than any representation in the media main stream

I just was never invested in him as a character cause he has always been pretty bland in a lot of shows I saw him in. Except when they do his dark episodes.

Yeah, I can completely get that

Why is it that they always have to do dark versions of DC characters in media to get a good adaption ?
