haven't fought a boss before that gave a command so i was very confused

no one will blame you in this game for not knowing a boss immediately the first time. especially if you are still a sproutling

that's one of the best features in ffxiv btw

From what I've heard you can be banned in 14 just by giving helpful advice to a player and if they dislike it they can report

nah

the only reason you can get banned is if you are using third party software like parsers and being pushy to other ppl because of their dps

That's also a bit of a annoying to because if you're doing like the extreme or something and the person is doing 0 DPS you can't just call them out

the best way to avoid this is ask the person if you can give him/her advice

about how to do more dps

if you do this they won't ban you

I'll ask if they want healing advice and then they say f* off you don't pay my sub and I'm like okay

What I usually do if I say somebody doing like spamming medica 2 for single target heals

best way to avoid low dps people in extreme is progressing the boss with a static and then joining high ilvl farm groups
