hollow knight game seems to be more gameplay Focus regardless

From what I have played, there's lore

yeah it's far more gameplay

than anythig else

And like OJ said, it's shown more than Dark Souls ever did

i think i hit my limit in ff14 might have to watch the remainder of shadowbringers online

Why?

I'm not enjoying it really. Could easily be burnout but so far it's easily my least favorite expansion

There's a new mechanic called Trust where you can do dungeons with NPCs. Was super excited at first until I saw how awful the AI is

Not only is the AI bad but I'm also really firetrucking bad so I can't even progress in the dungeon at all with Trust plus it takes a lot longer than doing it with players

Other thing is the Road to 70 perk which levels up players faster up to 70 which I liked at first because it enabled me to speed through story

However, when that perk runs out, you have to play the game completely differently if you've been doing just story like how I have

So I'm sorta regretting that perk in the long run

Also some relatively minor issues in comparison are the ost which I'm super disappointed in so far, and the setting for the new expansion is easily the most boring visually for me

And then gaining flight in zones is such a taxing process and I don't like the combat in general at all I'm shocked I've played this as much as I have

main issue is that i'm at the most current expansion

so it feels like a waste to stop now

Honestly I'm shocked you got that far

I expect you to quit at post ARR or early stormblood

road to 70 helped me speed through and aqua helped me

the story is also very very good

just the genre really cucks me

so far for me no game has lived up to shadowbringers story wise only the other thing is the anime called Fullmetal Alchemist I placed those two on this my highest tier

it could easily be burnout from how constantly i've been playing it, but shadowbringers has been the weakest to me storywise so far

i've heard it gets better later but, the beginning is easily on par with beginning of arr for me

It's very character Focus then expands a lot on the lore so I guess it depends how invested you are also over the years

i've been playing less than a month

Getting to experience everything all at once instead of overtime

idk, i just find it super boring so far

I mean do you want spoilers at this point since you're probably not going to play

i might force myself to so nah

since i'm at the latest expansion it'll feel like a waste not to

If you do I'd say go up to at least 5.0 and stop before post shadowbringers

ff14 in general just kinda makes me sad

because the narrative even at its weakest points is worth enduring the really shoddy genre and gameplay for me

but i hit my limit for the time being i think
