I tried watching it at the beginning of this year but I wasn't in the mood so I didn't finish the first episode

yee I gave up after the first four episodes, but then I started NHK and I don't really like watching only a 24 episode series at once, so I usually go in a 2-1-2-1 pattern of episode viewing. So I figured I'd just get it over with and watch it, and it actually got a lot better on episode 5 and thereon

makes you question why they bothered with a lot of the stuff they did in the first four episodes, because it seems like a lot of world building when it's such a minor focus from thereon

You're the opposite of me, I usually don't like watching two series at once

It depends on the series
Like, I'm not gonna watch something like Clannad in tandem with some random SoL Comedy

but nhk I kinda need a break from it every so often lol
Just because of its sort of single-room storytelling and generally dated animation quality

my main weakness tho is that sometimes I see a currently airing anime and I wanna watch it, but then I add on another and another, and then I'm keeping up with like 7 different anime while watching two completed series at once and I just burn myself out and stop watching anime generally lol

I want to watch Tower of God since everyone is talking about it

And I'm also keeping up with Kaguya-sama season 2

And I'm considering watching JoJo

I have tried watching jojo so many times

I just can't get through it

I read a tiny bit of the manga forever ago so I'm just generally curious about where it goes

But yeah, that's been one of my fears Otti lol. Cause there's one anime that I'm super hype for, Mushoku Tensei, that it's LN is one of my favorites and still the only one I've ever completed. The animation quality looks both fantastic and bad from the teaser they showed, and it's coming otu sometime this year

I want to watch it so badly, but I don't want it to be bad lol

I'll see how far I can go

Also, both Kanojo Okarishimasu and Fumetsu are getting an anime adaptation this year, which is pretty hype
