Interesting

the beginning was kinda nice, except for the shift in soundtrack that I'm not a fan of and the bland enviornments

but that scene liftea linked got me pretty excited

but everything afterwards up to this point has just felt incredibly mediocre

that, and I'm gonna have to grind which is going to really ruin the pacing as well

so I don't think it's gonna end up being top tier for me

road to 70 realllly spoiled me

and gave me a wrong impression of how leveling and main scenario quests work

Technically you're supposed to take advantage of it with leveling as many jobs as you can. not Just one

keep in mind I do find the combat in this pretty miserable so doing that earlier would've wrought its own series of issues for me

Well story-wise you still have a lot to go but you're pretty determined to see it to the end I suppose

I have to yeah, I can't drop it in the middle like this

especially with how much time I've put in

I mean technically even if you reach the current and you still have to wait for updates if you want to continue the story like the final boss of shadowbringers is coming out in July

yeah, I'm not sure if I'm gonna sub for that

the trial questlines and raid questlines are awesome as well

For me though pesonally like what I think of shadowbringers I get really excited and I'm like firetruck that game was good, nothong else has lived up to it yet, 7r came kinda close

It's good you have positive conations when thinking of it

I also love singing the theme song when I'm riding home from work, HOOOOME RIDING HOOOOME HOOOPE DYING HOOOPE HOOOOME

because in general, I get pretty stressed and dread the trials and dungeons

The only time I feel like that is when we're doing extremes and I am just not learning for some reason

I think apart from FF7 Vanilla, FF2 and FF1 there is no ff game that is really bad. FFXIV is just better than the rest

in terms of story 14 is above the rest for sure

everything else just holds it back from it being my favorite though obviously

it's going to be really hard to find the game to live up to shb idk if 6.0 will even

for me, the experience of a story is impacted by everything else such as the gameplay to reach those points and the music, etc

the fact that I'm liking the story despite hating mostly everything else about ff14 is pretty incredbile

It's definitely not for everybody people got their taste

yeah the genre really cucks me

the thing I like the most about FFXIV is that it absolutely destroyed WoW with Shadowbringers and everything that makes WoW look worse is great
