Some may argue that's ruining the game but I think there's a difference between fun and tedious

1's sidequests felt so incredibly archaic

the chain of connections, whatever it's called is really cool. But you need a looot of patience to see that through

The idea is you don't have to ever grind so long as you're doing side quests as you're going along but they were so difficult in the original because you just had to find them stumble across them

Xenoblade X was a lot better with that too God I want a port

didn't X encourage online for certain parts

There was like one online boss fight that I remember but that's about it

And that is completely optional

they'd probably have to fundamentally alter some aspects of X to make it a viable port, because I don't see them forcing online at all
