So a semblance of personal satisfaction by which can be achieved by non conforming actions which provide the feelings of euphoric joy through which ideally have little to no outside influence

I dunno frankly, I used to have these "builders' block" phases when I played Minecraft but after a few week-long breaks I was back in my groove.

I haven't played Minecraft seriously for the better part of 2 years now and I still haven't regained my groove.

Efficiency is always satisfying.

Maybe it's also a lack of commitment. I can't recall a single Minecraft project I've made that I could describe as truly finished, 7 years in.

it's all in 2D

easier to do things

I spent more time building my house in Minecraft survival than actually exploring the game
