The main issue I think is Shulk. I find him to be pretty awful

He just feels so shallow now. Prior, he was researching the Monado and the game went out of its way to show you his apparent frailty and densensess. Really good stuff for introducing him

But they just ignore that now and make him chad. He just kinda lacks as a protagonist now

Combat, size of the world and rate at which you walk regardless of movement buffs are huge issues for me too

Interesting I see I wonder what you can find that would Intrigue you other than Trails unless there's nothing cuz I think that's the only rpg you like maybe

I will say at least Xenoblade 1 has competent voice acting. I could at least watch the cutscenes unlike 2

xeno 1 reminds me a lot of aot first half in fact it follows that exactly first and second half

faced mechon is the colossal

I also probably have an unconscious negative affinity for Xenoblade as a whole due to my dropped 3DS experience of 1, mixed experiences with 2 and the super praise I see for it online

i would say objectively they are great games but like anything not for anyone but still gets tons of praise

I mean, all stories are subjective. I don't get you not liking shadowbringers (or liking Stormblood more) but I'll freely admit it's subjective

It feels like everything should be subjective but the way the internet layers and criticizes things makes every point of critique seem objective.
